Farmtown Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week up to and including Labour Day, September 3. We are open on weekends throughout September. If you would like to arrange a tour of the agmuseum or to visit in September during the week please contact us. As well as the day-to-day traffic, there are many special events at Heritage Village in the Hastings County Building. We close a little earlier when there are private functions in Heritage Village. Please call to confirm dates for 2012.
Sunday, June 26 - Strawberry Social - 11 am - 3 pm. Beef on a bun, strawberries and ice -cream, music in the courtyard by "Wrought Iron Roots" Admission $12 per adult, children 5 - 12 $5. Bring a lawn chair and join the party!
Wednesday, July 20 (rain date July 27) - Overalls and Whitewalls, Antique tractors and classic cars. 5 - 8 pm
August 12, 13, 14 - Stirling Agricultural Fair
August 24 & 25 Wednesday and Thursday – Hastings County Farm Show and Plowing Match,
September 11, Sunday – Grandparents’ Day..
November 12, 20, 21, Thursday, Friday and Saturday – Christmas at Farmtown Park Back by popular demand! Heritage Village adorned with trees and wreaths available for raffle.
If you know of any group wanting to tour, please call the office and we will be more than happy to accomodate their needs. We can provide luncheon or a brown bag lunch.
